Kazakhstan and US step up joint fight against drug trafficking

ASTANA. July 24 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Kazakh and US law enforcement officials met in Astana on Friday to strengthen joint efforts against drug and precursor trafficking, with both sides flagging the growing use of digital technology and cryptocurrency by transnational criminal networks, the Kazakh Interior Ministry said.
