Azerbaijan's GL Group takes over oil assets in Texas, its first US acquisition

BAKU. July 24 (Interfax) — Azerbaijan's privately held GL Group has acquired and taken full operatorship of oil and gas assets in the Permian Basin in West Texas, marking the first time an Azerbaijani company has owned and operated producing fields in the United States.
