China boosts imports of Russian oil 41% in Aug to replace lost supplies from Middle East

MOSCOW. Sept 22 (Interfax) - China boosted overall imports of oil in August by increasing supplies from Russia, while cutting purchases from other major exporters, most notably from Saudi Arabia by nearly 50%, according to Interfax calculations based on data from China's General Administration of Customs (GAC).
