Kazakh parliament ratifies agreement on UN regional center for sustainable development for Central Asia and Afghanistan

ASTANA. June 11 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – The Senate, the upper house of Kazakhstan’s parliament, approved on Thursday a bill ratifying the agreement between the government of Kazakhstan and the United Nations on the establishment of the UN Regional Center for Sustainable Development for Central Asia and Afghanistan, along with an accompanying bill ratifying the related memorandum of understanding between the government and the UN.
